Known issues on the 2015 Sentra. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year. Two involve the front passenger seat Occupant Classification System: it may incorrectly classify an adult passenger as a child or classify the seat as empty despite it being occupied, so the passenger frontal air bag may not deploy as intended in a crash; separately, a deformed front passenger seat belt bracket used to secure a child restraint system can cause the Occupant Classification System to misclassify the installed seat, so the air bag isn't turned off as designed. The third covers vehicles built June 5-13, 2015, where the driver side front and rear doors may not fully latch, risking the door opening while the car is moving.
