The second covers the brake pedal assembly, where the bracket between the pedal and the brake actuating rod may fracture during normal operation, leaving the driver unable to apply the brakes. The third covers the driver's frontal air bag inflator module, which may rupture during deployment and send sharp metal fragments toward the driver or other occupants, risking serious injury or death. Owners have filed 47 complaints for the year.
