Known issues on the 2013 Silverado 3500. Four recalls are on the federal record. The fuel one is worth knowing before chasing a leak: on dual-tank trucks the front tank's low level sensor can stick, so the rear tank keeps pumping forward until pressure swells the front tank into the driveshaft and opens it. Two others cover an air bag inflator liable to burst apart on deployment and throw sharp metal into the cabin, and one a fire extinguisher that may not discharge. Complaints total 90 — 16 on the power train, 15 on steering, 13 on air bags.
