The first covers the driver's powered seat, which may not be fully secured to the seat frame after the welds attaching it to the rear inboard seat bracket detach, so it may not properly restrain an occupant in a crash. The second covers the rear seat belt anchor fastener, which may not have been tightened properly and can loosen over time, again reducing occupant restraint in a crash. The third covers the driver's front air bag inflator, which can absorb moisture and cause the air bag to deploy improperly during a crash. The fourth covers the driver and front passenger seat belt pretensioners, which may have been incorrectly manufactured and fail to properly restrain occupants. The fifth and sixth both cover the 1.5L VC-Turbo engine bearings, which may carry manufacturing defects or break down under high oil temperatures and seize, leading to engine failure and, in a worst case, a breached engine block that discharges hot oil and raises the risk of an engine fire.
