Known issues on the 2011 Rogue. Two recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the electrical system: an electrical short in the harness connector, caused by snow, water and salt seeping through the carpet on the driver side floor, can result in a vehicle fire. The second covers the electric power steering assist system: the circuit board may not have been installed in the correct position on the EPS control unit, causing additional stress on the solder of the terminal, which can crack and separate from the circuit board, stopping the power steering assist and increasing the force needed to steer and the risk of a crash. Owners have filed 362 complaints for the year, and no technical service bulletins are logged.
Whether you're chasing a wiring fault near the driver footwell or verifying the EPS control unit, this manual keeps you on the correct specification for your 2011 Rogue.
