Known issues on the 2018 Rogue. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the back-up camera system: display and camera settings can be adjusted so the rear-view image no longer appears when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, raising the risk of a crash. The second, affecting Rogue Hybrid, covers the engine control module bracket, which can contact and damage the engine harness and blow a fuse, causing an engine stall. The third covers the jackknife-style ignition key, which can collapse into a folded position while driving, inadvertently shutting off the vehicle and potentially preventing air bag deployment in a crash. Owners have filed 609 complaints for the year and no technical service bulletins are logged. The factory diagnostic and repair procedures behind each of those systems are here.
From a back-up camera fault to an ECM harness check or a stalling ignition key, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2018 Rogue.
