2023 Chevrolet Express 3500 Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2023 Chevrolet Express 3500 has just two engines to document, both overhead-valve and naturally aspirated: a 4.3L V6 of 262 cubic inches running gasoline or a flex-fuel blend, and a 6.6L V8 of 401 cubic inches on gasoline. That narrowing puts more weight on the body and chassis material, which still spans seven configurations, three- and four-door cargo and passenger vans in two lengths and the two-door cutaway, across Base, LS and LT trims.

Known issues on the 2023 Express 3500. One recall stands on the federal record, and it is a control problem rather than a broken part: incorrect transmission control software that can produce harsh shifts, cut power, decelerate the van without the driver asking, lock the rear wheels, or send it moving in an unintended direction. Two owner complaints are also logged, one on the electrical system and one on the steering. Transmission diagnosis, control module operation, and steering and electrical testing all sit within this manual's procedures.
