This factory service and repair manual for the 2006 Chevrolet Express 3500 is a wide book by necessity. Known issues on the 2006 Express 3500. Eight recalls are on the federal record. One covers a power steering hose built off specification that can fracture at full lock and lose fluid, taking power assist with it and, on vans with hydraulic brake boosters, some of the braking assist as well. Another covers front and rear belt buckles that will not latch or unlatch. Most of the rest cover aftermarket wheelchair lifts whose sensors may not detect a person on the platform. Eighteen complaints are logged, led by three on the structure.
