Known issues on the 2022 A6 Quattro. Five recalls are on federal record for this model year. The engine control module's semiconductor can short-circuit, causing an engine stall. The infotainment main unit can suffer internal damage when the vehicle is shut off, leaving the rearview camera display inoperative on the next start. Liquid spilled in the rear seat can penetrate and shut down the gateway control module, suddenly cutting engine power. The fuel level sender can stick, feeding an inaccurate reading to the instrument cluster and risking an engine stall from unexpected fuel exhaustion. A software error can also prevent the rearview camera image from displaying at all, reducing rear visibility. No complaints or technical service bulletins are logged for the year.
