Known issues on the 2015 A6 Quattro. Four recalls are on federal record for this model year. Two cover the electric coolant pump on 2.0L Turbo FSI engines, which can become blocked with cooling-system debris or short-circuit from internal moisture and overheat, raising the risk of a fire. A third covers the auxiliary heater electrical connector, which may have been installed incorrectly and can overheat under added resistance, also a fire risk. The fourth covers the Passenger Occupant Detection System, where wear in the front seat's body-sensing mat can cause the module to malfunction and keep the front passenger air bag from deploying properly in a crash.
