Known issues on the 2012 A6 Quattro. Eight recalls are on federal record for this model year. Three involve fuel delivery: a weakening fuel line compression point, a degrading engine-bay fuel hose, and a fuel injection system leak, each raising fire risk in the presence of an ignition source. Two cover the coolant pump on 2.0L Turbo FSI-equipped variants, which can become blocked with cooling-system debris or short-circuit from moisture and overheat, also a fire risk. Two address the Passenger Occupant Detection System, where seat sensor mat wear or malfunction can prevent the front passenger air bag from deploying properly in a crash. The eighth covers a stitching defect in the curtain air bag seam that can keep it from deploying to protect an occupant. Owners have filed 59 complaints for the year and Audi has issued 0 technical service bulletins.
