Known issues on the 2016 A6 Quattro. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the fuel rail: a fuel leak near an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire. The second covers the auxiliary heater electrical connector, which may have been incorrectly inserted and can build up extra resistance, overheating the connector and raising fire risk. The third covers the Passenger Occupant Detection System sensor mat in the front seat, where stress or wear can cause the module to malfunction so the front passenger air bag may not deploy properly in a crash. Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Audi) is recalling certain 2016-2018 Q7, A6 and A7 vehicles, and 2015-2018 Audi A8 vehicles. The left and right fuel rails may leak fuel.
Consequence
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase risk of a fire.
Remedy
