Three recalls are on federal record for this model year: a steering rack-and-pinion fault that can cause a loss of steering control, a rearview camera that displays a lingering image and can distract the driver, and a power-train fault where a failed PTU can cause a loss of drive power or vehicle rollaway. Owners have filed 336 complaints and Jeep has issued 381 technical service bulletins for the year. This manual carries the factory diagnostic and repair procedures behind each of those systems.
