2014 Ford Mustang Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 2014 Mustang. Four recalls are on federal record, all for frontal air bag inflators. The passenger inflator, the driver's dual-stage inflator, which is vulnerable to moisture, and replacement inflators and modules fitted during collision repairs may all rupture on deployment and strike the occupants with sharp metal fragments. NHTSA holds 359 owner complaints against this model year, and air bags account for 241 of them, with the power train at 26 and steering at 22 well behind.
