2010 Ford Mustang Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 2010 Ford Mustang is written for four trims, Base, GT, Shelby and Shelby GT500, built as a two-door convertible or a two-door coupe. Three gasoline engines are covered: the naturally aspirated 4.6L SOHC V8, the supercharged 5.4L DOHC V8 and the naturally aspirated 4.0L SOHC V6. Known issues on the 2010 Mustang. Six recalls are on federal record, every one of them for frontal air bag inflators that may explode on deployment and strike the occupants with sharp metal fragments. They cover passenger-side inflators, replacement inflators and modules used in collision repairs, and the dual-stage driver's inflator that can be compromised by moisture intrusion. NHTSA has 260 owner complaints on record, and air bags make up 174 of them, followed by the structure with 16 and the power train with 12.
