Known issues on the 2010 Altima. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers Garmin nuvi 750 navigation units fitted to some vehicles, whose batteries can overheat and pose a fire risk. The second covers the upper front strut insulators, which were manufactured out of specification and can crack, letting the strut rod shift out of its mounting position and affect vehicle stability. The third covers front side member assembly welds on vehicles built April 7-13, 2010 that fell out of specification during production, which can affect crash performance. Owners have filed 380 complaints for the year and no technical service bulletins are logged. The factory diagnostic and repair procedures behind each of those systems are here.
Whether you're inspecting a front strut mount, checking a structural weld, or working through routine Hybrid or V6 service, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2010 Altima.
