Separately, the automatic transmission control module can suffer a broken secondary shaft bearing race that leads to engine stall or, if debris lodges in the parking pawl, the vehicle rolling after the gear selector has been set to Park; a faulty engine wiring harness connector can cause intermittent spark firing or stalling; improperly tightened front damper bracket bolts and spindle nuts on V6 models can result in loss of steering; and an aftermarket nose mask sold for this model can interfere with the secondary hood latch and pop the hood open while driving.
