Known issues on the 2023 Accord. Five recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the front seat belt pretensioners, which may be missing the rivet that secures the quick connector and wire plate, so the belt cannot properly restrain the occupant in a crash. Two separate recalls cover the fuel pump: one where the in-tank fuel pump may fail and cause an engine stall while driving, and a later one where the high-pressure fuel pump may crack and leak fuel near a possible ignition source, raising fire risk. Two more recalls cover the driver's seat cushion frame, which may not have been tightened properly, leaving the seat unsecured or loose and less able to restrain the driver in a crash.
