2014 Honda Accord Service and Repair Manual
Honda published a distinct set of specifications and procedures for every engine and trim it put in the 2014 Accord, and this factory service and repair manual carries the ones stamped for your particular build — including the K24W1 four-cylinder, the J35Y1 and J35Y2 V6s, and the LFA1 hybrid engine shared by the FHEV and PHEV variants — rather than a generic Accord-era average.

Known issues on the 2014 Accord. Four recalls are on federal record for this model year. The battery sensor case for the 12V battery management system can allow water intrusion, and the resulting electrical short raises the risk of a fire. Some four-cylinder Accords built in late July 2014 left the factory with improperly torqued connecting rod bolts, which can cause the engine to lose power or leak oil near hot exhaust components. Four-cylinder, CVT-equipped Accords sold in 23 listed states may have drive shafts assembled with a lubricant that degraded their protective coating, and a broken drive shaft can cause a sudden loss of drive power or let the vehicle roll away if the parking brake wasn't set. And a fuel pump inside the tank can fail, causing an engine stall while driving. Owners have filed 977 complaints for the year, and no technical service bulletins are logged for it. The factory diagnostic and repair procedures behind each of those systems are here.
From a suspect battery sensor to a CVT drive shaft inspection or a hybrid-system service, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2014 Accord.
