2010 Ford Crown Victoria Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2010 Ford Crown Victoria covers three trims of the four-door sedan, Base, LX and Police Interceptor, and the 4.6L SOHC V8 they all use: 281 cubic inches, naturally aspirated, flex-fuel or gasoline. It sets out procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics for the engine and fuel system, the steering column and intermediate shaft, the suspension, brakes and the sedan's electrical circuits. Three trims on one engine keep the figures consistent across the range.

Known issues on the 2010 Crown Victoria. Two steering recalls are on federal record for this year: an upper intermediate shaft that can separate if it was serviced improperly, and a lower steering column bearing that can come apart on cars registered in certain states, with a loss of steering the consequence in each case. Owners have filed 12 complaints with NHTSA, seven of them on steering and one each on the suspension and the fuel system. Steering column disassembly, inspection and torque values are the procedures in this manual that answer that record.
