The Southeast Toyota campaign cites the consequence that a driver may overload a vehicle, which may increase the risk of a crash; the Gulf States Toyota campaign cites only that this does not meet the standard requirements. The fifth covers the front seat heater, where a damaged copper strand heating element may short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire. Owners have filed 417 complaints for the year and Toyota has issued 152 technical service bulletins.
