Known issues on the 2007 Yukon XL 1500. This model year carries four recalls on the federal record. Two of them cover frontal passenger airbag inflators that can rupture when they deploy, throwing metal fragments into the cabin, with the risk concentrated in hot and humid regions. The other two involve the heated washer fluid system, where a short on the heater's circuit board could produce odor and smoke and, in the worst case, ignite the module. Owners have brought 777 complaints, 340 of them about airbags, 101 about the structure and 67 about electrical faults, which points straight at the restraint-system and body wiring diagnostics in this book.
