Known issues on the 2005 Yukon XL 1500. Six recalls are on the federal record for this year, and three of them show the range. One is a missing brake pedal pushrod retainer that could let the booster pushrod come off the pedal and take the brakes with it. Another is a shift lever position indicator that might not light at startup, so a driver could move off in an unintended direction. A third involves fuel rail crossover tube retainer screws made out of specification, which could break and leak fuel into the engine bay. Owners recorded 238 complaints, 70 electrical, 26 service brakes and 23 power train, all systems this manual diagnoses in full.
