Known issues on the 2007 Sebring. The federal record holds seven recalls for the 2007 Sebring. On certain 2007 Sebring vehicles with the standard tire pressure monitoring system, unused connectors could corrode and short, leading to a no-start, a drained battery or a stall; dealers sealed the wiring. On certain 2007 Sebring vehicles with the 2.4L engine, coolant could be pulled into the left cooling fan motor connector and short it, risking an engine compartment fire. On certain others, anti-lock brake software could lock the rear wheels in some stops. Of 339 complaints, the electrical system leads with 121; 21 reported a fire, 18 a crash and 9 an injury.
