Known issues on the 2003 Sebring. The federal record holds one recall for the 2003 Sebring. On certain 2003 Sebring vehicles, the fitting where the return hose meets the electric fuel pump could be partly blocked, letting injection pressure climb high enough to split that hose, and escaping fuel near an ignition source could start a fire; dealers checked pump pressure and modified pumps that read high. Owners also logged 74 complaints, led by air bags (16), suspension (14) and engine and engine cooling (11). Of those, 5 reported a crash, 5 an injury and 1 a death.
