Known issues on the 1995 Sebring. Three recalls sit on the federal record for the 1995 Sebring, and the three concern suspension ball joints. On certain cars, the boots protecting the front lower lateral arm ball joints may have been torn at the factory, letting dirt and water in until the joint could come apart; a second recall on certain cars added the risk of moisture corroding the ball stud. A third covers certain cars whose lower control arm ball joint could lose lubrication and separate, costing steering control. Of 132 complaints, suspension leads with 46 and hydraulic service brakes follow with 33; 19 reported a crash, 4 a fire, 10 an injury and 1 a death.
