2001 Ford F-750 Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2001 Ford F-750 documents the turbocharged 5.9L and 7.2L inline-six diesels and the turbocharged 7.3L V8 across three straight truck bodies, a two-door long conventional and four-door extended and crew cabs, all in Base trim. Brakes dominate the year's federal record, and the manual answers with air system and antilock procedures, specifications and torque values, plus the wiring diagrams and diagnostics that the wheel speed sensor and wiper motor circuits both need.

Known issues on the 2001 F-750. Three recalls are on federal record. Two are about air brakes: chafed wheel speed sensor wiring or a damaged wheel end can trigger the antilock system at low speed and exhaust air from the modulators, lengthening stopping distances, while on trucks with the trailer package the air lines at the tractor protection valve were misrouted, so a leak could weaken trailer braking. The third covers a switch in the wiper motor gear case that can overheat and cost the driver wipers. One owner complaint is logged with NHTSA, on the suspension.
