1994 Chevrolet Cavalier Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier documents a car built in four shapes and four equipment levels, with three naturally aspirated gasoline engines beneath them. Known issues on the 1994 Cavalier. Two recalls appear federally. The more serious one starts at the drive axle spindle nut, which was tightened past specification at the factory; the overload can break the nut or the axle itself and let the steering knuckle and wheel assembly separate from the drive axle while the car is moving. The second covers a horn pad that can work free of the steering wheel and jam between the spokes and the turn signal lever. Complaints reach 300, with 72 on the service brakes and 56 on engine cooling; hub and axle torque, brake service and cooling diagnostics are all specified here.
