Known issues on the 1985 Maxima. Two recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the fuel injection system: fuel leaks in the engine could result in a fire, and the campaign called for replacing the injectors and related hoses on affected vehicles. The second covers the windshield, where insufficient adhesive in the contact area between the glass and the body could allow the windshield to dismount in an accident, risking occupant ejection and more serious injury.
