Known issues on the 2024 Forester. Two recalls are recorded for the 2024 Forester on the federal record. Attachment bolts on the engine water pipe of certain 2024 Forester vehicles may be loose, which could let the pipe lose its seal and drip coolant onto a hot exhaust pipe, a fire risk; that campaign covered 49 vehicles that had not yet been delivered, and distributor facilities were to tighten the bolts. Certain 2024 Forester vehicles are also recalled for front driveshafts whose outer race can crack and break, cutting drive power or permitting rollaway.
