Known issues on the 2015 Forester. Of the 3 recalls NHTSA holds for the 2015 Forester, one affects certain 2015 Forester vehicles with heated seats, where a connection for the passenger seat's occupant detection system can work loose and switch the passenger air bag off with someone seated. Certain 2015 Forester vehicles with the turbocharged engine, built within a set production window, may have a turbocharger air intake duct that cracks and stalls the engine. A third campaign replaces brake light switches on certain 2015 Forester vehicles because contamination can stop them lighting the brake lamps.
