2022 GMC Sierra Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2022 GMC Sierra addresses AT4, Denali and SLE trims built as four-door crew cab and two-door standard cab pickups. Both listed engines are naturally aspirated overhead-valve gasoline V8s, the 325-cubic-inch 5.3L and the 376-cubic-inch 6.2L. Lighting, transmission control and body hardware all lean on the electrical side of this truck, and the wiring diagrams, specifications, torque values and diagnostic routines are grouped so those systems can be traced end to end.

Known issues on the 2022 Sierra. The federal record lists six recalls. A transmission control valve can fail and lock the rear wheels, a failure that appears twice here because an earlier repair was carried out incorrectly on some trucks. The 6.2L V8 has its own campaign for connecting rod and crankshaft defects that can end in engine failure. Chrome front grille deflectors could also break their attachments and come off into traffic. Complaints total 571, with 165 on the engine, 99 on the power train and 90 on the structure, which keeps the engine and body sections busy.
