2014 GMC Sierra Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2014 GMC Sierra opens on a redesigned truck with four trims to its name: All Terrain, Denali, SLE and SLT. The 325-cubic-inch 5.3L V8 runs flex fuel while the 376-cubic-inch 6.2L V8 is gasoline only, and both are naturally aspirated with overhead valves. Crew cab and standard cab bodies are covered together, and procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics are set out system by system across that whole spread.

Known issues on the 2014 Sierra. Eight recalls sit on the federal record. The vacuum pump that feeds the brake booster can lose output over time, so pedal effort rises and stopping distances stretch. Electric power steering assist could drop out briefly and then snap back, which is hardest to handle in slow turns. A driver's seat belt tensioner cable, worn where the driver slides across it, could fatigue and separate. Complaints reach 858, concentrated on exterior lighting with 193, steering with 161 and service brakes with 119, which is exactly the ground this manual details.
