In the first, a short circuit on the washer fluid heater's printed circuit board could make other electrical features malfunction, give off an odor, or produce smoke and a fire risk. In the second, the heated washer module itself could ignite. Owners have logged 343 complaints with NHTSA, weighted toward the air bags with 155, the service brakes with 44 and the electrical system with 29, so restraint diagnostics, brake procedures and body wiring are the sections that answer them.
