2022 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 2022 GMC Sierra 2500 HD adds Pro to the trim list, alongside AT4, Denali, SLE and SLT. Two 6.6L V8s do the work, a turbocharged diesel of 403 cubic inches and a gasoline or flex-fuel unit of 401 cubic inches, both overhead-valve, in a 4-door crew cab pickup, a 4-door extended cab pickup or a 2-door standard cab pickup. Known issues on the 2022 Sierra 2500 HD. Three recalls are on the federal record. The first concerns brake pressure modulator valve bolts that may not have been tightened properly during assembly, leaving the sub-assemblies unsealed so water can enter and short the circuit. The second concerns a transmission control valve that can fail and lock the rear wheels. The third concerns a power-release tailgate whose switch can short when water reaches it, unlatching the gate on its own.
