This factory service and repair manual for the 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 HD lists four trims, Base, Denali, SLE and SLT, on a 2-door standard cab pickup, a 4-door crew cab pickup or a 4-door extended cab pickup. Two engines are documented, the 6.6L turbocharged diesel V8 of 403 cubic inches and the 6.0L overhead-valve V8 of 364 cubic inches configured for gasoline, CNG or flex fuel. Known issues on the 2015 Sierra 2500 HD. Six recalls are on the federal record, and the brakes account for two of them: a brake pedal pivot nut that can loosen until the pedal goes slack or stops working, and can foul the accelerator pedal as it moves. Two more describe roof-rail air bag inflators whose end cap can detach or whose sidewall can rupture, letting compressed gas and hardware into the cabin. Two others describe frontal air bags and belt pretensioners that may fail to deploy in a crash. Of 147 owner complaints, 56 concern exterior lighting. Pedal, restraint and lighting diagnostics are all documented here.
