Known issues on the 2016 Sierra 2500 HD. Five recalls sit on the federal record. Two concern a brake pedal pivot nut that can work loose, leaving the pedal loose or inoperative and possibly interfering with the accelerator. One concerns roof-rail air bag inflators whose end cap can separate or whose sidewall can burst under pressure. Two concern frontal air bags and seat belt pretensioners that may not deploy in a crash that calls for them.
