Known issues on the 2018 Pathfinder. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year. Two of them cover the same defect: the Anti-lock Brake System actuator pump can leak brake fluid onto an internal circuit board, and the resulting electrical short raises the risk of a fire. The third covers the back-up camera, whose display settings can be adjusted so the rear view image disappears and stays off the next time the vehicle is put in reverse, increasing the risk of a crash.
