2014 Nissan Pathfinder Service and Repair Manual
This 2014 Nissan Pathfinder factory service and repair manual is built for this specific year, engine and trim, including the 2.5L hybrid (QR25DER) and 3.5L V6 (VQ35DE) powertrains, so the torque values and diagnostic steps inside are the ones Nissan actually published for this SUV, not a generic stand-in from another model year.

Known issues on the 2014 Pathfinder. Eleven recalls are on federal record for this model year. The largest cluster centers on the occupant classification system: the passenger seat sensor can misread an adult as empty, deactivating the frontal air bag and raising injury risk if a crash occurs, with a separate frontal air bag campaign covering an incorrectly cut instrument panel tear seam. The brake light switch relay can stick in the "ON" position, keeping the brake lights lit, interfering with the brake-shift interlock, and allowing a rollaway from Park without the pedal depressed. Right-side wheel lug nuts and front wheel hub fasteners were both flagged for under-torquing, either of which can lead to wheel or caliper separation, and the secondary hood latch can fail to secure the hood at speed. A software issue in the ABS could also lengthen stopping distance on rough roads during light braking. Owners have filed 573 complaints for the year, and no technical service bulletins are logged. The factory diagnostic and repair procedures behind each of those systems are here.
From an OCS or air bag diagnostic to a brake light switch, wheel hub, or hood latch inspection, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2014 Pathfinder.
