Known issues on the 2014 Equinox. A single recall is recorded for this model year: corrosion in the ball joints of the windshield wiper module, which can leave one or both wipers dead and cut visibility in rain or snow. The complaint record is much larger at 546, almost evenly divided between the engine at 164 and wipers and visibility at 159, with the electrical system third at 37. Wiper module replacement and linkage adjustment, engine mechanical diagnosis, and the circuit tracing behind both are covered here with torque values and wiring diagrams.
