Known issues on the 2010 Equinox. Three recalls sit on the federal record for this year. One covers the bolt securing the power front seat height adjuster, which can fall out and let the seat drop suddenly under the driver. Another covers software in the center instrument panel that can shut down the heating and air conditioning controls and take the windshield defroster with them. The third allows the ignition key to be withdrawn without the transmission in Park, so the vehicle can roll away as occupants get out.
