Two cover the Passenger Occupant Detection System sensing mat in seats with heating/cooling, which can malfunction and prevent the front passenger air bag from deploying as intended in a crash. Two cover the electric coolant pump on 2.0L Turbo FSI engines, which can be blocked by cooling-system debris or short out from moisture, overheating and raising the risk of a fire. Two cover fuel system hoses and lines that can weaken or degrade, leading to a fuel leak that raises the risk of fire near an ignition source.
