The Ford F250 manual is much easier to navigate at just over 8000 pages.

would rather have a maintenance manual. have a parts manual from parts vu company. only difference is that your parts manual has all together whereas the parts vu had to download the differsections individually.

Known issues on the 2009 Tacoma. Nine recalls are on federal record for this model year. Two concern the air bags: on one, the front passenger seat occupant sensing system can be out of calibration, and on the other, steering wheel vibration over time can damage the spiral cable so that the driver's side air bag may not deploy in a crash. A seat belt recall covers a pre-tensioner that can detach from the seat belt assembly on Access Cab trucks. Another covers the accelerator pedal, which can get stuck in the wide open position and may result in very high vehicle speeds and make it difficult to stop. A tire pressure monitoring recall cites failure to warn of tire deflations, a non-compliance with FMVSS 138 that could lead to tire failure. A front seat heater recall covers a copper strand heating element that, if damaged, may short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire. The remaining three are labeling non-compliances: incorrect load carrying capacity modification labels that could result in the vehicle being overloaded, and two FMVSS 110 tire selection and rims label recalls - one from Southeast Toyota, where a driver may overload a vehicle which may increase the risk of a crash, and one from Gulf States Toyota, where the labels do not meet the standard requirements. Owners have filed 609 complaints for the year and Toyota has issued 122 technical service bulletins.
