The Ford F250 manual is much easier to navigate at just over 8000 pages.
If i spend the money for Adobe Acrobat Professional ill be able to break it down into manageable bits.

would rather have a maintenance manual. have a parts manual from parts vu company. only difference is that your parts manual has all together whereas the parts vu had to download the differsections individually.

Known issues on the 2008 Tacoma. Eight recalls are on federal record for this model year. One covers the driver's frontal air bag: over time, steering wheel vibration may damage the spiral cable, and in the event of a crash the driver's side air bag may not deploy. Another covers the accelerator pedal, which can get stuck in the wide open position; a stuck open accelerator pedal may result in very high vehicle speeds and make it difficult to stop. On Access Cab trucks, a seat belt recall covers a pre-tensioner that can detach from the seat belt assembly. The tire pressure monitoring system is recalled because failure to warn of tire deflations is a non-compliance with FMVSS 138 and could lead to tire failure, and a Southeast Toyota Distributors recall covers a seat heater whose copper strand heating element may short circuit if damaged, increasing the risk of a fire. The remaining three are labeling non-compliances: affected vehicles were not equipped with load carrying capacity modification labels, and incorrect load carrying capacity modification labels could result in the vehicle being overloaded; Southeast Toyota is recalling vehicles that fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 110, Tire Selection and Rims, where a driver may overload a vehicle, which may increase the risk of a crash; and Gulf States Toyota is recalling vehicles for the same FMVSS No. 110 non-compliance, where the labeling does not meet the standard requirements. Owners have filed 556 complaints against the 2008 Tacoma, and Toyota has issued 128 technical service bulletins for it.
