Known issues on the 2005 Savana 1500. Five recalls stand on the federal record. Platform-style wheelchair lifts fitted to some of these vans could move without being commanded and injure the person using them. Front and rear seat belt buckles may refuse to latch or refuse to release. The hydraulic brake booster's pressure accumulator can crack and break away from the assembly. Wiring for the optional rear climate system can overheat and cause a fire. Of 23 owner complaints, six name the service brakes and three each the body structure and the steering, and both of those systems are covered here.
