Known issues on the 2001 Savana 1500. One recall is on the federal record, for replacement racing oil filters that may not seal properly, allowing engine oil to escape and raising the risk of a fire. Owner complaints stay at three, one each on the engine, the seats and the tires. Engine lubrication and oil pressure specifications, seat and interior trim removal with the correct fastener torque, and wheel and tire mounting data are all set out in this manual, along with the diagnostic procedures for the rest of the van's mechanical and electrical systems.
