Known issues on the 1999 Savana 1500. One recall is on the federal record, and it concerns replacement racing oil filters that can seal inadequately, losing engine oil and creating a fire risk. One owner complaint is logged with NHTSA, on the tires. Oil pressure specifications, lubrication system service and the torque figures for the fittings involved are all part of the engine section, and the wheel and tire content carries the inflation, mounting and fastener torque data that go with the sizes fitted to this van, along with the inspection limits for the wheels themselves.

THIS CONDITION MAY CAUSE INADEQUATE SEALING AND LOSS OF ENGINE OIL, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN A FIRE.
Remedy
