Known issues on the 2004 Yukon XL 2500. Four recalls are recorded federally, and three of them touch fuel and braking. A fuel rail pulse damper retainer clip could fracture, allowing the damper to work loose and fuel to leak. A hydraulic brake booster accumulator could crack and separate under normal use, releasing fluid from the booster circuit. A relief valve bore machined out of specification could fracture its seal and leave the driver pressing harder for the same stop. Owners recorded 445 complaints, 165 electrical, 77 service brakes and 26 steering, so the fuel rail, booster and wiring sections are the ones that get opened.
