2003 GMC Yukon XL 2500 Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 2003 Yukon XL 2500. Four recalls attach to this model year on the federal record. One found rear door upper hinge welds that were not made to specification, leaving door strength short in a side impact. Another covers replacement wheel hub assemblies whose inboard retention nut could loosen until the wheel was at risk of coming off. A third concerns a mid-frame cross member that could tear in an angled frontal crash and puncture the fuel tank with the edge it leaves behind.
