One covers the accelerator pedal, which can stick open: a stuck open accelerator pedal may result in very high vehicle speeds and make it difficult to stop. Another covers the wheels on trucks fitted with five factory alloy wheels and the port-installed four alloy wheel upgrade, and the condition arises if the spare tire/wheel is installed on the vehicle using the wheel nuts provided for the upgrade. The third covers the gasoline fuel system on V6 trucks, where the fuel pulsation damper on the fuel rail may have been improperly assembled; this could result in an engine compartment fire if a heat source or an ignition source is present. Owners have submitted 718 complaints for this vehicle, and 70 technical service bulletins have been issued.
